Che Chori was born from a dream to bring people together through food, culture, and community.

Founder Marcos C. Perera, originally from the countryside of Argentina, grew up where meals were sacred moments shared with family and friends.

After moving to the U.S. at 24, he put himself through college and built a successful career in the international export of food products, gaining a global perspective that deepened his passion for quality and flavor.

Years later, he and his wife Laura, an Indiana native, combined their roots and experiences to create something special — a place where authentic Argentine street and comfort food could feel at home in Indianapolis. From handmade empanadas and house-made sausages to signature sauces crafted from scratch, every bite reflects passion, heritage, and hard work.

What began as a small drive-thru has grown into a destination for connection, now expanding into a full dining experience that continues to celebrate authenticity, creativity, and community — one choripán at a time.
